Shipping Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-26
This policy explains how UPAKO KPOP handles international shipping, customs responsibility, address accuracy, restricted items, returned packages, and delivery issues.
1. International Shipping
We ship internationally from South Korea using K-Packet or other available international postal services.
Available shipping countries may vary depending on postal service availability, customs regulations, item type, destination restrictions, and the shipping countries enabled at checkout.
All orders are shipped to the address provided by the customer at checkout. Please make sure your shipping address, postal code, recipient name, and phone number are accurate before placing your order.
2. Order Processing Time
Orders are usually prepared and shipped after payment confirmation and address verification.
Processing may take longer during weekends, Korean public holidays, high-volume periods, or when additional recipient information is required for customs clearance.
3. Tracking Information
A tracking number will be provided after your order has been shipped.
Customers are responsible for checking the tracking status regularly. In some countries, the local postal service may leave a delivery notice, hold the package at a post office, or require the recipient to contact the local carrier directly.
4. Customs Duties, Taxes, and Import Fees
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, sales tax, customs clearance fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee.
All customs duties, taxes, import fees, and clearance charges are the buyer's responsibility.
We declare the item name, quantity, and value accurately on customs documents. We do not mark orders as gifts or declare a lower value than the actual order value.
5. Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Customers must provide complete and accurate shipping information.
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Missing apartment, unit, suite, building, or room number
- Incorrect postal code
- Incorrect recipient name
- Missing or invalid phone number
- Mismatch between the recipient name and local delivery information
- Failure to collect the package from the local post office or customs office
6. Customs Delays and Local Postal Delays
Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country, customs inspection, local postal processing, holidays, weather conditions, and other circumstances beyond our control.
Customs clearance may take longer than expected. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or local postal services.
7. Restricted Items
To reduce customs and delivery issues, we generally ship lightweight K-pop goods such as photocards, paper goods, sleeves, toploaders, and small merchandise that does not contain restricted materials.
- Food, snacks, candy, or drinks
- Cosmetics, perfume, mist, or liquid items
- Batteries or battery-included products
- Electronic devices
- Plants, seeds, dried flowers, or soil
- Animal products
- Medicine or supplements
- Tobacco or alcohol products
- Cash, jewelry, or high-value valuables
- Items prohibited or restricted by the destination country
8. Country-Specific Notices for Supported or Common Destinations
Some countries listed below may not always be available at checkout. Actual shipping availability depends on the shipping countries enabled for the store at the time of checkout.
United States: Please make sure your ZIP Code, street address, apartment number, unit number, suite number, and phone number are correct. Customers should check tracking updates regularly and contact USPS if necessary.
Canada: Please enter your full address, province, postal code, and phone number correctly. Canadian postal codes should follow the correct letter-and-number format, such as A9A 9A9. Customs duties, GST/HST, import fees, or other charges may be imposed by Canadian customs or the local carrier.

Philippines: Please enter the recipient's full name accurately, preferably as shown on the recipient's passport or official ID. In some cases, the recipient may need to visit the local post office or customs office to collect or clear the package.
Australia: Australia has strict customs and quarantine regulations. We do not include food, candy, snacks, tea, seeds, dried flowers, plant-based items, animal-based items, or similar freebies for shipments to Australia. We also do not use reused boxes with food, animal, or plant images.
Japan: Please enter your 7-digit postal code, prefecture, city/ward, full street address, building name, room number, recipient name, and phone number correctly. Food, plants, seeds, animal-based products, liquids, perfumes, cosmetics, and battery-included products may be restricted or excluded from shipment.
9. Returned Packages
If a package is returned due to incorrect address information, failed delivery, unclaimed package, unpaid customs fees, or refusal to receive the package, the original shipping fee is non-refundable.
A refund, if applicable, will be processed only after the returned package is received and inspected by us.
If the customer wants the order to be shipped again, additional shipping fees will be charged.
10. Lost or Damaged Packages
Once the package is handed over to the postal carrier, delivery is handled by the postal and customs authorities of the destination country.
If a package is lost or damaged during international transit, we will assist with available tracking information. However, compensation may be limited depending on the shipping method and postal regulations.
